Bio


Sara Salguero holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and is currently in her final year of graduate school pursuing a master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Sara is gaining hands-on experience as a counselor intern at a drug rehabilitation center, facilitating both individual and group counseling sessions. Her internship work has also included providing individual, group, and couples counseling in inpatient and outpatient settings.

With over 25 years of administrative experience and fluency in two languages, Sara brings a unique combination of professional discipline, cultural competence, and compassion to her counseling practice. She is recognized for building strong therapeutic relationships, facilitating psychoeducational groups, and integrating evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Mindfulness, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Authenticity is at the heart of Sara’s work. She approaches every client with empathy, kindness, and-when appropriate-a touch of humor, sharing positive energy and hope. Sara Salguero is committed to delivering trauma-informed, culturally responsive care that meets each client’s unique needs. Her goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where individuals and couples feel understood, valued, and empowered to grow-both together and individually.
