Ruben is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) with a background in organizational psychology and
more than 25 years of experience helping individuals and workplaces grow. His therapeutic
approach blends insight, empathy, and practical strategies to help clients deepen self-
understanding, strengthen communication, and navigate relationships, work stress, and major life
transitions. Ruben offers both virtual sessions and in-person appointments in the Teaneck office.
Ruben works primarily with adults navigating anxiety, relationship and communication
challenges, self-confidence concerns, and professional burnout. His style is collaborative,
grounded, and focused on helping clients understand patterns, clarify goals, and build skills that
foster resilience and lasting change.
Before becoming a clinician, Ruben spent many years leading employee engagement and
organizational health initiatives at a Fortune 50 company. This experience gives him a nuanced
understanding of how personal and professional worlds intersect, and how to restore balance
when life feels overwhelming.

Ruben also has a particular interest in supporting single parents, career changers, and first-
generation Latino adults and professionals. He provides services in both English and Spanish.

He earned both his Master of Social Work and his graduate degree in Industrial/Organizational
Psychology from New York University.
