Krista is a Licensed Associate Counselor who offers a warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed approach to therapy. She believes meaningful change happens when clients feel genuinely seen and understood while also having access to practical, evidence-based tools for healing and growth.
Krista draws from evidence-based approaches including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and person-centered therapy. She has experience working with a diverse range of clients, including LGBTQ+ individuals and veterans, and has supported more than 1,200 individuals across a variety of backgrounds and life experiences. Her clinical interests include trauma, anxiety, depression, identity exploration, relationship concerns, and life transitions.
In addition to her clinical training, Krista has taught yoga and meditation since 2009 and incorporates her understanding of mindfulness and the mind-body connection when aligned with a client’s needs and preferences. Her approach honors both the science of psychotherapy and the value of mind-body practices in supporting healing.
Above all, Krista strives to create an affirming, inclusive space where clients can show up authentically, explore their experiences with curiosity and compassion, and reconnect with their own capacity for growth.
