Pamela Pater-Ennis, LCSW, PhD, is a psychotherapist and founder of Hudson River Care and Counseling in Hoboken and Teaneck, New Jersey. Dr. Pam works virtually as well. As President and CEO, Dr. Pater-Ennis is affectionately known as Dr. Pam.   

Dr. Pam graduated from Hope College in Holland, Michigan, and earned her Master of Social Work from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Committed to the well-being and betterment of her patients’ lives, she specializes in counseling the elderly, those suffering from chronic or terminal illness, and those dealing with grief, sexual trauma, and crises of faith. 

Dr. Pam is uniquely established to help her patients, mixing her extensive knowledge of psychotherapy with faith. She brings more than 30 years of clinical social work experience to her ministry. One of her passions is to help victims of religious abuse reclaim their autonomy and honor their status as not victims, but survivors. To work with these individuals, Dr. Pam developed the MySanctuaryHealing program. She is an ordained minister in the Reformed Church in America.

Dr. Pam is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New York and New Jersey.
