Bianca DeBellis, LCSW, M.Ed, PhD ABD, believes the foundation of effective therapy lies in the strength of the therapeutic alliance – the collaborative and trusting relationship between her and her clients. A strong therapeutic relationship is built on trust and open communication in a non-judgmental space, where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings at their own pace, and where Bianca works together with her clients to explore pathways to healing.
Bianca specializes in treating trauma, relationship issues, and anxiety, though she has experience successfully supporting people with an array of diagnoses. She uses evidence-based interventions to ensure each client receives the best possible care. Her approach integrates proven methods, such as CBT, trauma-informed psychodynamic therapy, and mindfulness practices. These therapies help clients develop practical skills for immediate relief while exploring deeper emotional patterns to foster long-lasting change.
Bianca holds a Master's degree in Social Work from Rutgers University, a Master's degree in Special Education from Hunter College, and she is currently a PhD candidate in Social Work at the University of Pittsburgh, focusing her research on effective trauma-responsive supports.
